Bingo Cafe Review
Bingo Cafe is something of an old-timer having been in business since 2003. It’s owned by Market Junction NV and features bingo slots, casino and instant games. Given that the site is more than eighteen years old, you’d probably assume that they were doing something right. Read on as we now take a closer look, evaluating important areas such as game variety, promotions, customer support and UX.
Design and UX
The branding on Bingo Cafe is pretty confused to say the least. A brushed-metal logo which belongs firmly in the early 2000s has been etched into a brown and yellow color-scheme. On desktop screens, a large promotional rectangle populated by a matador and bull (??) sits against a smog-bound cityscape.
There are two buttons on the home page that allow you to play instant games (is there any other kind these days?) or download Bingo Cafe on to your chosen device. Oh, boy.
Sadly, when we tried to download Bingo Cafe we were met with a 403 ‘Forbidden’ error message. Now this probably has something to do with our location. But the operators could surely have created a temporary landing page explaining why the link didn’t work.
So all in all, our first impressions didn’t amount to a hill of beans. Let’s move on to the games shall we?
Bingo Cafe Game Variety
Happily, Bingo Cafe offers 75 ball bingo variants. Mega Bingo is also on the dog-eared menu as well, whatever the hell that is. Joining these is a small collection of standard computer-based casino games such as roulette and multi-player blackjack. Instant win scratch cards have been thrown in too.
You’ll also be able to try your hand at an extensive array of online slots. Unfortunately, many of them are about as well-known as an R&B act from Reykjavik. Some of these beauties include 3 Dragons, Lady of Destiny, Merlin’s Magic and Pirate Bay.
But in terms of consistency, Bingo Cafe scores big by including equally obscure progressive slots like Blackbeard’s Booty, Slots of Bingo and Jackpot Jamboree. All of the games are provided by some outfit called Leapfrog Entertainment. Do you sense our enthusiasm waning?
Bonuses & Promotions
Helpless players who’ve yet to climb aboard the slopping gravy boat will surely be enticed by the $200 welcome offer. It applies to the first two deposits and is subject to unspecified wagering rules. Try as we might, we couldn’t find any information about precisely what these might be.
Bingo Cafe VIP Package
Bingo Cafe operates a six-tier loyalty club which rewards high-depositing players with a dazzling array of non-specific perks. Some of these include ‘special bonuses’, ‘birthday bonuses’, ‘re-deposit bonuses’, ‘weekly promotions’, ‘personalized VIP promotions’, ‘exclusive VIP promotions’, ‘VIP gifts’ and ‘tickets for holidays and days out’. To be eligible for the platinum level, all you’ve got to do is part with $1000 or more ‘in a day’. We can hardly contain our excitement.
The dynamism of this VIP package and the website as a whole is firmly underlined by the player testimonials that Bingo Cafe has kindly published on its site. Here are a few tasters:
‘I like to wake up in the morning and find a special VIP surprise’ - Fortinj
‘I like being a VIP because of the perks. I enjoy talking to others at the site’ - Tamarlee56
‘I love this site and enjoy the colossal extra on bingo. Have won several of these’. Colly64
Well said Colly64. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a ‘colossal extra’ when playing at an online casino.
Customer Support/Cashier Options
Bingo Cafe offers an email address, three telephone numbers and 24/7 live chat. The usual payment options are available too such as VISA, Neteller, Skrill and Instadebit.
Bingo Cafe Review Conclusion
Where to begin? If you like outdated online casinos that are poorly branded and appear abandoned, then you’re going to have a ball at Bingo Cafe. Sorry to be harsh, but this is an absolutely appalling platform that’s beset by bugs and strange redirects. What’s more, the promotional T&Cs are vague and unhelpful. And how about that VIP package? Jeez. Our advice would be to stay well away from this disaster-zone and look for a better alternative. It shouldn’t be too difficult.
